Prized for its dark tones and tough structure, American Black Walnut makes for a top-of-the-line cutting area. The white sapwood intertwined with the chocolate/light brown heartwood gives this species a beautiful contrast.

OAK
A traditional choice, Appalachian Red Oak has similar heartwood and sapwood colors, with sapwood slightly lighter. Appalachian Red oak is dense and has a high shock resistance making it a great countertop.
Ultra premium edge grain counter tops are manufactured with full length continuous rails from.
Manufactured with random lengths of finger-jointed interior rails, the Blended KCT series offers a harmonious blend of heartwood, sap, natural mineral, and grain.
Easy on the eye, easy on the knife, end grain countertops are manufactured in a vertically glued “checkerboard” lay-up. This unique island top offering reveals the best of the natural elements in hardwood grain.

VARNIQUE FINISH
This beautiful semi-gloss polyurethane finish is virtually maintenance free. It is impervious to most household chemicals. Cleans easily with mild soap and water. The fine furniture look makes it the choice for kitchen island bars and eating counters. Cuts in the finish should be resealed immediately to prevent the exposed wood from absorbing moisture. Refinish with EZ-DO Poly Gel.
NATURAL OIL FINISH
If you wish to use your butcher block top as a cutting surface, oil is the factory finish to choose. Just like on cutting boards and butcher blocks, the natural wood surface is protected by oil, which is actually absorbed into the fibers. We advise to periodically re-oil your butcher block tops to preserve their beauty and durability. Oiled tops need to be oiled every 3-4 weeks.
UNFINISHED
Have your own preferred finish or ideas for finishing? Purchase your top unfinished! Unfinished tops give the option to finish on-site, color match or use a different finishing product. Please note - unfinished countertops are void of the 1-year manufacturer warranty as unfinished wood products are subject to movement with fluctuations in temperature, weather and pressure.
We are committed to providing the lowest cost available for custom butcher block countertops and islands!
